Chukka

We have an extensive range of Chukka clothing available for men and women at Cross Country Style. Our collection includes many polo shirts, jerseys and more and they are all less that the RRP. The Chukka collection is full of bright colours and fantastic quality equestrian clothing which have been popular amongst horse riders for a while.

Chukka’s founder, Roddy Gale, got his inspiration to begin an equestrian brand from attending many polo events. He enjoyed polo and saw a niche in the market to design clothing for people who enjoyed the atmosphere of the game such as international high goal players. He got the name of the brand from the Indian word for circle and it also has an alternative English meaning within polo which means the periods in a handicap match of polo.

The Chukka brand has been around for several years and has become popular for their brilliant vivid coloured polo shirts and other equestrian clothing. They did their first photo-shoot in 2005 with MOT models and they have kept with them over 2006 and 2007 photo-shoots. Chukka is always using their initial inspiration throughout their clothing range as they stick to their polo roots. Although this may be true, their clothing is perfect for everyone’s equestrian needs and they continue to provide extra ranges for many different aspects of the equestrian market.

Chukka clothing is available for both men and women and there are so many different styles and colours to choose from. They have such a vast collection that there is something for everyone’s unique personality and style. There is also something for every weather condition and all products are both comfortable and stylish. We are always updating our stock so there may be something new next time you visit.
